CARDBOARD RECYCLING


RESIDENTS: CORRUGATED cardboard should be put curbside every other week when recyclables are picked up as shown on the recycling calendar. Flatten and bundle cardboard together. No pieces larger than 2'x3' will be picked up.

 

BUSINESSES: ONLY businesses may deliver corrugated cardboard to the Portage County Material Recovery Facility located at 600 Moore Road, Plover, Monday through Friday between 7:30a.m. and 3:30p.m. and on Saturdays from 7:30am to noon.

FREE Confidential Paper Shredding is available at the present time to businesses only. Call 345-5970 for details.

SORTING:

*Mixed paper MAY be recycled (but is not required). Bundle in paper bags.

*Includes: Container board (cereal boxes, tissue boxes, beverage cartons & other flat types of cardboard.

*Mixed "office" papers (letters, envelopes, notebook papers, etc.)

*Readers Digest and TV Guides

*Wax-coated corrugated boxes

*Paper tubes & rolls

*Egg cartons

NO PLASTIC OR METALS MIXED WITH PAPERS!
