PLOVER CEMETERY DEPARTMENT

The Plover Cemetery located on River Drive in the Village of Plover is one of the oldest cemeteries in Portage County. It is jointly owned by the Town and Village of Plover and is operated by the Village of Plover.

The Village of Plover shall be responsible for the operation of the Cemetery, sale of lots, maintaining records of lot sales and burials and the keeping of the financial records of the Cemetery.

The basic rules for the cemetery are posted at the entrances to the cemetery. One half of the purchase price of a cemetery lot goes into a "Perpetual Care Fund" with the intent that the cemetery become self supporting. Anyone wishing to purchase lots or desiring more information may call a member of the Village of Plover or download new 2011 rules and regulations.
