On behalf of the department members, I would like to welcome you to the Village of Plover Fire/EMS Department web-site. The Village of Plover Fire/EMS Department is a combination department consisting of two (2) full-time employees and forty (40) Paid-On-Call (POC) employees.
Our firefighters and emergency medical technicians respond to an average of 175 fire/rescue and 675 EMS incidents on an annual basis. These professionals serve a primary population base of over 15,000 residents and a Metro Fire District population base of over 43,400 residents.
Our professional employees provide a wide variety of services including, but not limited to; fire suppression, wildland fire suppression, vehicle rescue/extrication, emergency medical services, ice/water rescue, confined space rescue and public education and training. Members maintain their skills through a combination of extensive department training and incident response experience.
