MANUFACTURING/BUSINESS DISTRICT

PURPOSE. The M-3 Manufacturing/Business District is established to provide for a compatible mix of light manufacturing and commercial uses in a business park setting. It is intended that this District generally be located by major highways.

PERMITTED USES.
(a) Industrial research laboratories
(b) Machine shops
(c) Metal Fabrication
(d) Plastic Manufacturing
(f) Preparation, assembly and packaging of foods
(g) Wholesale distributing establishments
(h) Business and Corporate offices
(i) General retail
(j) Restaurants
(k) Art, music, and dance studio and shops
(l) Exhibition halls
(m) Hobby and craft shops
(n) Medical and dental clinics
(o) Sporting goods stores
(p) Physical fitness and health studios

CONDITIONAL USES.
(a) Hotel and motels
(b) Taverns and cocktail lounges
(c) Commercial Recreational facilities (Indoor and Outdoor)
(d) Motorcycle, Recreational vehicles, and marine sales and service
(e) Gasoline and diesel fuel sales
(f) Other uses not listed as permitted or conditional and determined to be similar or compatible by the Plan Commission.
